Chairwoman of the Law Enforcement and Public Safety Committee, Mary Beth

Maio, and Deputy Chair Julius Collins offer the following:

 

WHEREAS, pursuant to Section C-96 of the Ulster County Charter and

Section A26-1 (A) of the Administrative Code, the County Executive has appointed

Nancy Schmidt to the position of Director of Probation for Ulster County; and

WHEREAS, further pursuant to Sections C-15 and C-96 of the Ulster County

Charter and Sections A2-10 and A26-1 (A) of the Administrative Code, the abovereferenced appointment is now subject to confirmation by the Ulster County

Legislature; now, therefore, be it

 

RESOLVED, that the Ulster County Legislature hereby confirms the

appointment of Nancy Schmidt to the position of Director of Probation for Ulster

County,

and move its adoption.
