Chairman of the Legislative Programs, Education and Community Services

Committee, David B. Donaldson, and Deputy Chair Heidi Haynes, offer the

following:

 WHEREAS, this resolution has been submitted by the County Executive on

behalf of the Ulster County Community College; and

WHEREAS, the Ulster County Community College has expressed an interest

in working with the Dormitory Authority of the State of New York for the purposes

of providing design services for such College; and

WHEREAS, such services will be provided to the College at no fee to the

College, or the County; and

WHEREAS, such services will be used by the College in updating various

classrooms, lecture halls and other educational spaces to ensure the provision of

modern, efficient, and state of the art educational space; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, that the Chairman of the Ulster County Legislature is hereby

authorized to enter into an agreement with the Dormitory Authority of New York

State for the provision of design services, in the form as filed with the Clerk of the

Legislature, or as modified with the approval of the County Attorney,

and move its adoption.
