Referred to: The Public Works and Capital Projects Committee (Chairman Fabiano
and Legislators Greene, Litts, Nolan, and Roberts), The Legislative Programs,
Education and Community Services Committee (Chairman Donaldson and
Legislators Collins, Delaune, Eckert, Haynes, Wawro and Woltman), and The Ways
and Means Committee (Chairman Gerentine and Legislators Archer, Bartels, Lopez,
Maio, James Maloney, Joseph Maloney, and Petit)
Chairman of the Legislative Programs, Education and Community Services
Committee, David B. Donaldson, and Deputy Chair Heidi Haynes, offer the
following:
WHEREAS, this resolution has been submitted by the County Executive on
behalf of the Ulster County Community College (herein “UCCC”); and
WHEREAS, SUNY Ulster has many doors on campus that are in need of
immediate repair or complete replacement for the safety of students, faculty and staff.
In addition, these doors will provide enhanced campus security operations; and
WHEREAS, the SUNY Ulster Board of Trustees approved Resolution No. 16-
11-142 establishing a Capital Project in the amount of $306,000.00, to replace doors
throughout campus over the next five years; and
WHEREAS, the $306,000.00 cost to replace doors throughout the SUNY
Ulster campus would be divided as follows: $153,000.00 SUNY funding and
$153,000.00 Ulster County funding; and
WHEREAS, the 2018-2023 Capital Improvement Program included funding
of $306,000.00 for the replacement of doors; now, therefore be it
RESOLVED,that Capital Project No. 493 - SUNY Ulster Door Replacement
Plan is hereby established as follows:

Capital Project No. 493 SUNY Ulster – Door Replacement $306,000.00
and, be it further;
RESOLVED, that the 2018-2023 Ulster County Capital Fund Budget is
hereby amended as follows:
