Chairwoman of the Law Enforcement and Public Safety Committee, Mary Beth

Maio, and Deputy Chair Julius Collins offer the following:

WHEREAS, this resolution has been submitted by the Sheriff’s Office; and

WHEREAS, the Ulster County Sheriff has secured a public protection grant in

the amount of $10,175 from New York State Governor’s Traffic Safety Committee

for the term October 1, 2018 to September 30, 2019, funded by the New York State

Department of Motor Vehicles; and

WHEREAS, the grant funds will be used to reimburse the County Budget

Lines where the expenses are incurred for this activity; and

RESOLVED, that the Chairman of the Ulster County Legislature is hereby

authorized to accept a Governor’s Traffic Safety Committee Grant, secured by NY

State Department of Motor Vehicles,

and move its adoption.
