Chairman of the Legislative Programs, Education and Community Services

Committee, David B. Donaldson, and Deputy Chair Heidi Haynes, offer the

following:

WHEREAS, this resolution has been submitted by the County Executive on

behalf of the Ulster County Community College (herein “UCCC”); and

WHEREAS, Resolution No. 261 dated June 19, 2018 approved the

establishment and funding of Capital Project 527 – SUNY Ulster Classroom

Renovations in the amount of $435,284.00; and

WHEREAS, such project includes the replacement of the classroom furniture

and other interior classroom components including, but not limited to ceiling tiles,

paint, fixture and carpet replacements on the SUNY Ulster’s Stone Ridge Campus

and additional furniture components to meet the needs of students at the Kingston

Center of SUNY Ulster; and

WHEREAS, the College and the County have requested the services of the

Dormitory Authority of the State of New York to design and procure such furniture,

fixtures and equipment at no additional cost to the County or the College; and

WHEREAS, such Work Order outlines the work to completed for such project

with no additional cost to the County or the College; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, that Chairman of the Ulster County Legislature is hereby

authorized to enter into an agreement with the Dormitory Authority of the State of

New York for the provision of services related to the design and procurement of

furniture, fixtures and equipment on SUNY Ulster’s Stone Ridge Campus and the

Kingston Center of SUNY Ulster;

and move its adoption.
