Maloney, Joseph Maloney, and Petit)

Chairman of the Public Works and Capital Projects Committee, Dean J. Fabiano, and

Deputy Chair Manna Jo Greene offer the following:

WHEREAS, this resolution has been submitted by the County Executive on

behalf of the Department of Public Works (Highways & Bridges); and

 WHEREAS, a project to repair an embankment failure on Watson Hollow

Road (herein the “Project”) was included in the 2018-2023 Capital Improvement

Program in the amount of $412,000.00; and

WHEREAS, Resolution No. 384 dated October 17, 2017 established Capital

Project No. 511 in the amount of $412,000.00 for such Project; and

WHEREAS, grant proceeds for the Project from the Ashokan Watershed

Stream Management Program have been appropriated in the amount of $68,000.00

for engineering and design, and further increased by $250,000.00 for project

implementation in the construction phase, bringing total grant proceeds to

$318,

RESOLVED, that Ulster County Legislature upon review of the

Environmental Assessment form and the NYSDEC permits issued for the project as

filed with the Clerk of the Legislature, has determined that the Project will not have

a significant adverse environmental impact and adopts and issues a negative

declaration in accordance with 6 NYCRR Part 617.7 of SEQRA to be filed with the

Project; and, be it further

RESOLVED, that the 2018-2023 Ulster County Capital Improvement Program

is hereby amended to increase Capital Project No. 511 – Watson Hollow Slope

Stabilization from $412,000.00 to $593,976.00, an increase of $181,976.00; and, be

it further

RESOLVED, the 2018 Ulster County Capital Fund Budget is hereby amended

as follows:
