Referred to: The Public Works and Capital Projects Committee (Chairman Fabiano
and Legislators Greene, Litts, Nolan, and Roberts), The Legislative Programs,
Education and Community Services Committee (Chairman Donaldson and
Legislators Collins, Delaune, Eckert, Haynes, Wawro and Woltman), and The Ways
and Means Committee (Chairman Gerentine and Legislators Archer, Bartels, Lopez,
James Maloney, Joseph Maloney, and Petit)
Chairman of the Legislative Programs, Education and Community Services
Committee, David B. Donaldson, and Deputy Chair Heidi Haynes, offer the
following:
WHEREAS, this resolution has been submitted by the County Executive on
behalf of the Ulster County Community College (herein “UCCC”); and
WHEREAS, the classrooms located on SUNY Ulster’s Stone Ridge campus
need replacement furniture – including ADA compliant desks and chairs, repairs and
replacement to aging ceiling tiles, repairs and upgrades to heating and cooling
systems, new paint and other interior renovations including energy efficient
upgrades; and
WHEREAS, the Kingston Center of SUNY Ulster needs additional furniture
components to the needs of students and faculty; and
WHEREAS, the SUNY Ulster Board of Trustees approved Resolution No. 18-
5-109 establishing a Capital Project in the amount of $435,284.00, for classroom
renovations throughout the Stone Ridge Campus and the Kingston Center of SUNY
Ulster; and
WHEREAS, funding for such project will be divided as follows: $217,642
SUNY and $217,642 Ulster County; now therefore be it
RESOLVED, that the 2018-2023 Ulster County Capital Improvement
Program is hereby amended as follows;
ADD AMOUNT
Capital Project No. 527 SUNY Ulster Classroom Renovations $435,284.00
and be it further;
RESOLVED, that Capital Project No. 527 - SUNY Ulster Classroom
Renovations is hereby established and the 2018 Ulster County Capital Fund Budget
is hereby amended as follows:
