Chairman of the Legislative Programs, Education and Community Services

Committee, David B. Donaldson, and Deputy Chair Heidi Haynes, offer the

following:

 

WHEREAS, this resolution has been submitted by the County Executive on

behalf of the Ulster County Community College (herein “UCCC”); and

WHEREAS, Resolution No. 112 dated March 20, 2018 approved the

establishment and funding of Capital Project 524 – SUNY Ulster Burroughs

Renovations in the amount of $552,200.00; and

WHEREAS, such project includes the replacement of the roof over Lecture

Hall 120 located in the Burroughs Building on the SUNY Ulster’s Stone Ridge

Campus; and

WHEREAS, the College and the County have requested the construction

management services of the Dormitory Authority of the State of New York; and

WHEREAS, such Work Order totals $150,000.00 for such project which will

be divided as follows: $75,000.00 State and $75,000.00 Ulster County; now,

therefore, be it

RESOLVED, that Chairman of the Ulster County Legislature is hereby

authorized to enter into an agreement with the Dormitory Authority of the State of

New York for the provision of contract management services related to the roof

replacement project of Lecture Hall 120 located in the Burroughs Building on SUNY

Ulster’s Stone Ridge Campus,

and move its adoption.
