Legislators Richard A. Gerentine and Thomas J. Briggs offer the following:

WHEREAS, this resolution has been submitted by the County Executive’s

Office on behalf of the Department of Public Works – Building and Grounds; and

WHEREAS, a project to renovate the existing space at the Development Court

Complex, also known as the Business Resource Center (BRC) to accommodate the

needs of Family Court in accordance with mandated requirements of New York State

Law and New York State Office of Court Administration; and

WHEREAS, this project was included in the 2017-2022 Capital Improvement

Program in the amount of $10,797,855; and

WHEREAS, the Commissioner of Public Works requests funds for the design

and construction management components of this project; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, that Capital Project No. 494 be established for the Family Court

Renovation Project at the Business Resource Center; and, be it further

RESOLVED, the 2017-2022 Ulster County Capital Fund Budget is hereby

amended as follows:

INCREASE AMOUNT

HH.1997.0494-4300.4330 Professional Services $ 876,000.00

 Architectural

HH.1997.0494-4300.4505 Professional Service $ 384,000.00

 Other

HH.1997.0494-3500.5710 Serial Bond Proceeds $1,260,000.00
