Chairman of the Public Works and Capital Projects Committee, Dean J. Fabiano,

Deputy Chairman Peter M. Loughran, and Legislator R. Parete offer the following:

 

WHEREAS, pursuant to Sections C-25 (A) of the Ulster County Charter and

Section A3-4 (A) of the Administrative Code, the County Executive has the power

and duty to appoint department heads; and

WHEREAS, pursuant to Section C-63 of the Ulster County Charter and

Section A12-1of the Administrative Code, the County Executive has appointed

Thomas Jackson to the position of Commissioner of the Ulster County Department of

Public Works; and

WHEREAS, further pursuant to Sections C-63 of the Ulster County Charter

and Sections A12-1 of the Administrative Code, the above-referenced appointment is

subject to confirmation by the Ulster County Legislature; now, therefore, be it

 

RESOLVED, that the Ulster County Legislature hereby confirms the

appointment of Thomas Jackson to the position of Commissioner of the Ulster

County Department of Public Works,

and move its adoption.
