and Rodriguez)

Chairman Kenneth J. Ronk, Jr. and Chairman of the Economic Development,

Tourism, Housing, Planning and Transit Committee, James F. Maloney, offers the

following:

WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 402, dated December 29, 1998, the

membership of the UCDC Loan Committee, later renamed the Revolving Loan Fund

Committee, consisted of 11 standing members; and

WHEREAS, membership established pursuant to Resolution No. 402 included

the County Treasurer or designee, the Executive Director of the UCDC or designee,

and two members of the UCDC Board of Directors; and

WHEREAS, it is now necessary to update the membership to reflect changes

in county government and to facilitate the ability to conduct business; now, therefore,

be it

RESOLVED, that the membership of the Ulster County Revolving Loan Fund

Committee shall include seven (7) members as follows:

• Chair of the Legislature’s Economic Development, Tourism, Housing, Planning

and Transit Committee, who shall serve as Chair of the Revolving Loan Fund

Committee

• The Chair of the Ulster County Legislature’s Ways and Means Committee

• The Majority Leader or designee

• The Minority Leader or designee

• One member of the Ulster County Economic Development Alliance (UCEDA)

Board of Directors

• Two persons representing private business, preferably having banking or

economic development experience;

and, be it further

RESOLVED, that Revolving Loan Fund Committee members not serving by

virtue of position shall be appointed by the Chairman of the Ulster County

Legislature; and, be it further 

RESOLVED, that in the absence of the Chair of the Revolving Loan Fund

Committee at a meeting, the Committee may select a temporary chair for that

meeting,

and move its adoption.
