Chairman of the Public Works and Capital Projects Committee, Dean J. Fabiano, and

Deputy Chairman Peter M. Loughran offer the following:

 

 WHEREAS, this resolution was submitted by the County Executive on behalf

of the Department of Public Works (Buildings and Grounds); and

 

WHEREAS, the lease agreement for office/clinic space located at Willow

Park Office Complex, 230 Aaron Court, Kingston, NY (the “Lease”) expired on

October 31, 2016; and

WHERAS, the lease space is required for the WIC Program (Women, Infants

and Children) and the STD (sexually transmitted disease) clinic, both operated by the

Ulster County Department of Health; and

WHEREAS, the Ulster County Department of Health wishes to continue

leasing 2,917 square feet of office space from Lealand Holdings, LLC, at Willow

Park Office Complex, Suites 230 and 250, Aaron Court, Kingston, for an additional

three year (3) year term commencing November 1, 2016 through October 31, 2019,

at a cost of $36,054.00 annually, with all utilities and taxes included; and

WHEREAS, the Commissioner of Public Works has requested that the

Chairman Of The Ulster County Legislature be authorized to execute a lease

agreement with Lealand Holdings, LLC, for a term of three years from November 1,

2016 through October 31, 2019; and, now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, that the Chairman Of The Ulster County Legislature is hereby

authorized to execute a lease agreement with Lealand Holdings, LLC for 2,917

square feet of office/clinic space at Willow Park Office Complex, Suites 230 and

250, Aaron Court, Kingston, New York, for a three-year period from November 1,

2016 through October 31, 2019, at an annual rental cost of $36,054.00, in the form as

filed with the Clerk of the Legislature or as modified with the approval of the County

Attorney, and be it further 

 

RESOLVED, the tenant, the County of Ulster, shall have the option to

terminate the lease for any or no reason, upon thirty days written notice to the

landlord,

and move its adoption.
