Chairman of the Legislature Kenneth J. Ronk, Jr. offers the following:

WHEREAS, this resolution has been submitted by the County Executive on

behalf of the Department of Public Works; and

WHEREAS, the lease agreement for office space presently used by the Ulster

County Family Court and located at 16 Lucas Avenue, Kingston, New York, will

expire on August 31, 2016; and

WHEREAS, the Commissioner of Public Works has requested to renew the

lease for an additional twenty-four (24) months, commencing on September 1, 2016

and terminating on August 31, 2018, at the annual cost of $224,000.00, which shall

be payable in equal monthly installments for the duration of the Lease Extension

Agreement; now therefore, be it

RESOLVED, that the Chairman of the Ulster County Legislature is hereby

authorized to enter into a Lease Extension Agreement, and any amendments thereto,

with GD Realty Kingston LLC for office space located at 16 Lucas Avenue,

Kingston, New York to be used to house the Ulster County Family Court, in the form

as filed with the Clerk of the Ulster County Legislature or as modified and approved

by the Ulster County Attorney and Legislative Counsel,

and move its adoption.
