Chairman of the Public Works and Capital Projects Committee, Dean J. Fabiano, and

Deputy Chairman Peter M. Loughran offer the following:

WHEREAS, the County Executive has submitted this resolution on behalf of

the Department of Public Works; and

WHEREAS, the Commissioner of Public Works has been notified by the New

York State Department of Transportation of an increase in CHIPS funding for Ulster

County Highway Capital Improvements in the amount of $605.14 for the State fiscal

year 2016-2017; and

 WHEREAS, there exists a 2015 CHIPS budget balance of $299,464.79 to be

rolled over into the 2016 Budget; and

WHEREAS, it is necessary to adjust the Budget to reflect the net difference of

the rollover balance and State increase in funding; and

WHEREAS, the Commissioner of Public Works requests the 2016 CHIPS

appropriations and revenues be increased by $300,069.93 ($299,464.79 rollover plus

$605.14 increase); and

RESOLVED, that the 2016 Ulster County Budget is hereby amended as

follows:

 INCREASE AMOUNT

DD.5112.5112.4100.4125 CHIPS Expenditures $300,070.00
