RESOLUTION TEXT +-
Majority Leader Gregorius and Minority Leader Ronk offer the following:
WHEREAS, the Ulster County Legislature adopted the 2015-2020 Capital
Program which included the purchase of police vehicles to supplement the aging fleet
of existing vehicles; and
WHEREAS, the Ulster County Sheriff, after a thorough review, requests that
Capital Project No. 446 be established and funded in order to purchase three police
vehicles, namely three marked patrol cars (Ford Utility Police Interceptor) with
police equipment at a cost of $141,000.00; and
WHEREAS, the vehicles purchased will replace vehicles that have high
mileage or have been damaged beyond reasonable repair and have been determined
to be unsafe; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that Capital Project No. 446 - Purchase of Sheriff Patrol Cars is
hereby established in the amount of $141,000.00; and, be it further
RESOLVED, that the 2015 Ulster County Capital Project Fund is hereby
amended as follows:
INCREASE AMOUNT
HH.1997.0446-2100.2140 Capital Project No. 446 $141,000.00
