Chairman of the Public Works and Capital Projects Committee, Dean J. Fabiano, and

Deputy Chairman Peter M. Loughran offer the following:

WHEREAS, this resolution has been submitted by the County Executive on

behalf of the Department of Public Works; and

WHEREAS, the Commissioner of Public Works has prepared a list of various

Ulster County buildings in need of HVAC/Weatherization replacement/upgrade; and

WHEREAS, the project will increase operational efficiencies, energy

conservation and improve ventilation where required; and

WHEREAS, project expenditures in the amount of $2,500,000.00 for

HVAC/Weatherization Project – Various County Buildings, were approved in the

2015 – 2020 Capital Program; and

WHEREAS, it may be necessary for the Commissioner of Finance to transfer

funds between these projects when bids are opened; and

WHEREAS, the Commissioner of Public Works requests that Capital Project

Nos. 392 through 402 be established and funded in a total amount of $2,500,000.00

in order to provide HVAC/Weatherization replacements/upgrades to various County

buildings; and, now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, that Capital Project Nos. 392 through 402 for

HVAC/Weatherization Projects are hereby established as follows:
