Ron is a life resident of Ulster County. He retired as a Sergeant from the Town of New Paltz Police Department with over 29 years of service. During his tenure with the Town of New Paltz Police, he researched and wrote the Departments First Highway Safety Grants, securing over one hundred thousand dollar in enforcement money which included Buckle up New York, Aggressive Drivers and Pedestrian Cross Walk Enforcement. In addition, he wrote their First Child Passengers Safety Grant which included free car seat inspections, car seats and educational clinics.
He coached Legion Post 1219 Baseball and is a member of the Ellenville and New Paltz Elks Club. He served on the Assessment Review Board for the Town of Rochester.
He is married to Lupe. He has four sons, Garrett, Michael, Sean and Matthew. He enjoys playing golf, fishing and hunting.
