Brian was born and raised in Kingston in a politically active family. He has lived in district 4 in the Town of Ulster for over 40 years. Brian is married with one adult daughter. Brian raised his family here, his daughter went to school here. Brian has worked at IBM ...
Brian was born and raised in Kingston in a politically active family. He has lived in district 4 in the Town of Ulster for over 40 years. Brian is married with one adult daughter. Brian raised his family here, his daughter went to school here. Brian has worked at IBM for over 35 years where he is a development engineer. For 10 years, he worked down the street from his house at IBM in Ulster before it closed. In Brian’s previous tenure as a County Legislator they introduced the County Charter and ensured a smooth transition to the new form of Government. The new Legislature brought many innovations into the County Government including a greater environmental awareness by creating a Department of the Environment. They also introduced employee background checks, no smoking on county properties policy, attempted the first plastic shopping bag ban which finally passed 10 years later. Brian will focus on Economic Development and improving efficiencies using data analysis in county operations in the coming term while actively participating in all aspects of the County Legislature.
