Boards, Commissions & Advisory Committees

In addition to its legislative and budgeting work, the Ulster County Legislature plays an important role in recommending and appointing members to serve on many voluntary Boards, Commissions & Advisory Committees of the county. These entities provide valuable input, recommend policy, and help guide the County on a variety of topics including parks, recreation and arts, climate, conservation and agriculture, mental health and accessibility, emergency services, ethics, finance and much more.
