ULSTER COUNTY LEGISLATORS REMINDS ALL THE HEALTH INSURANCE OPEN ENROLLMENT DEADLINE IS LOOMING

The last chance to enroll in the federally mandated health insurance coverage is fast approaching and the Ulster County Legislature encourages all who are not insured, under insured or paying high premiums to make that call today. A health insurance marketplace was established by the New York State Department of Health and specialists are available to assist Ulster County residents in comparing their health care options and apply for coverage. The deadline to enroll is March 31, 2014.

Ulster County Gold Girl Scouts Recognized by Legislators

Ulster County Legislators Carl Belfiglio and Mary Wawro had the distinguished honor to present Ulster County Gold Girl Scouts, Cipriana Costello and Kailey Myer, with Prides of Ulster County at the 2014 Girl Scout Heart of the Hudson’s 2013 Gold Award Ceremony on Saturday, March 8, 2014 in Dobbs Ferry, New York.
The Gold Award is the highest award presented to a Girl Scout and celebrates the completion of a community service project that demonstrates leadership, responsibility, and the commitment to making the world a better place for all people.
