Everett Hodge Center After School Programs
City of Kingston & Family of Woodstock
Provide a safe and supportive environment for the Kingston community through educational, environmental, youth and community programs and health and human services. The Hodge Center is owned by the City of Kingston and operated through a cooperative arrangement with the City of Kingston Parks and Recreation Department and Family of Woodstock’s Kingston Cares initiative.

Family of Woodstock – Darmstadt Shelter
Emergency shelter for up to 21 homeless men and women. Housing and services for men and women participating in daily substance abuse and/or mental health programming who need a clean and sober living environment. The program also provides Intensive homeless supervision, including supervision and support to individuals at risk of requiring a higher level of care or supervision, and those involved in the criminal justice system.

Family of Woodstock - Family House
Provides emergency shelter for up to 14 runaway and homeless youth, ages 12 – 17, for an initial stay of up to 30 days, and an additional 30 days approved by the Ulster County Runaway Coordinator.

Family of Woodstock - Midway of Kingston & Ellenville
A supervised transitional living programs based in Kingston and Ellenville for up to 18 months for adolescents 16-21 who are homeless and not yet prepared to function independently, and, as necessary, their infants. Youth who enter the program at age 16 can stay up to 24 months in order to complete their high school education.

Soldier On – Patriot’s Project, Kingston
Soldier On is committed to ending veteran homelessness. Since 1994, the organization has been providing homeless veterans with transitional housing and supportive services. A refurbished Ulster County historical site, known as the Patriot’s Project, is the new location for Soldier On’s first emergency housing facility. The 8-room facility was completely renovated by the county and then leased to Soldier On. Under the emergency housing program, the VA allows veterans to stay 60-90 days, during which they are supported in their search for housing and employment by both VA and Soldier On staff.
Ulster Corps is a countywide resource dedicated to fostering a culture of volunteerism, collaborative work and community service. Their mission is to educate about volunteerism and best practices, facilitate successful and effective volunteer placements, and build collaborations among nonprofit organizations, local government agencies, and businesses engaged in community involvement throughout Ulster County.

Ulster Immigrant Defense Network
Provides a network of safety and support for our immigrant friends and neighbors, regardless of status. Helps with household needs including food, clothing, furniture, school supplies, and emergency financial aid; referrals for support and social services; safe space sanctuary; and rapid response to ICE actions. Also provides transportation and/or accompaniment for health care and school-related appointments, court appearances, ICE check-ins, and other official meetings.
