LEGISLATOR ROBERTS “HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED” BY NYSDOT REPLY TO CONCERNS ON FOREST ROAD
Posted June 30, 2017Plattekill, NY – “I’m highly disappointed and I know the residents are, too,” said Ulster County Legislator Kevin Roberts in response to a recent letter from New York State Department of Transportation regarding repeated requests from local residence and county officials to reduce the speed limit for a detour on Forest Road during the highway construction project for the New York State Thruway Bridge over Route 32.
CHAIRMAN RONK ANNOUNCES FLAG DISPOSAL BOX AT THE COUNTY OFFICE
Posted June 30, 2017Kingston, NY - Ken Ronk, Chairman of the Ulster County Legislature, announced that a flag disposal box is now available at the Ulster County Office Building in Kingston.
“The US flag is a symbol of the ideas our country was founded upon, freedom, justice and opportunity for all,” said Ronk, “but when flags become frayed or faded, many people simply don’t know what to do with them.”
