Ulster County Legislature Offers Condolences to Kingston City School District and Community

The Ulster County Legislature extends its deepest condolences to the families, students and staff of the Kingston City School District following the tragic accident that claimed the lives of two students. At this difficult time, words seem insufficient to convey the depth of our sympathy for the sorrow and grief that the students' friends, family, and community are enduring.

Chair of the Legislature, Peter Criswell, stated, "Our hearts go out to the families and the Kingston City School District community during this incredibly challenging period. The loss of two young lives is a heartbreaking tragedy that leaves us all in profound sorrow. I want to express the unwavering support of the Legislature and solidarity with the affected families, friends, and the entire Kingston community. We stand with you in this time of grief."

We have reached out to Superintendent Padalino, and we are comforted the School District is actively engaged in providing support to its community members as they navigate through this painful experience. The Ulster County Legislature wants to assure the Kingston City School District that we are here to offer any assistance that may be needed during this difficult time.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the family and Kingston community as they mourn the loss of their students.
