ULSTER COUNTY VICE CHAIR JAMES MALONEY PROPOSES EXTENDING TAX INCENTIVES FOR COLD WAR VETERANS
Posted November 1, 2017Kingston, NY – James Maloney, Vice Chairman of the Ulster County Legislature, sponsored a Proposed Local Law that, when adopted, will make it easier for Cold War Veterans to maintain eligibility for a property tax exemption.
“Ulster County is indebted to all our Veterans for the sacrifices they have made on behalf of Ulster County’s residents as well as the entire country”, Maloney stated. “I want to ensure we grant the maximum exemption allowable under New York State Real Property Tax Law.”
