Chairman of the Ways and Means Committee, Richard A. Gerentine, and Deputy

Chairman Tracey A. Bartels offer the following:

WHEREAS, the County Labor Attorney William Wallens and members of the

Executive Staff have negotiated a Memorandum of Agreement covering the period

January 1, 2015 through December 31, 2016 with the Ulster County Staff

Association, represented by NYSUT, and recommends the agreement to the Ulster

County Legislature; and

WHEREAS, the contract results in a 2% increase in base salary on January 1,

2015 and a 2% increase in base salary on January 1, 2016 and no increase in

longevity payments; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, that the Ulster County Legislature hereby approves the

Memorandum of Agreement covering the period January 1, 2015 through December

31, 2016, between the County of Ulster and the Ulster County Staff Employee’s

Association; and, be it further

RESOLVED, that the County Executive is hereby authorized to execute a

Collective Bargaining Agreement with the Ulster County Staff Association, in

accordance with the executed Memorandum of Agreement,

and move its adoption.
