NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING PURSUANT TO

SECTION 1411 (d) OF THE NOT-FOR-PROFIT LAW OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK REGARDING THE SALE OR TRANSFER OF COUNTY OWNED PROPERTY

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a Public Hearing will be held pursuant to Section 1411(d) of the Not-for-Profit Law of the State of New York regarding the authorization of the sale and/or transfer of lands owned by Ulster County located at 21 Elizabeth Street in the City of Kingston, identified on Real Property Tax Map as SBL 56.124-1-12 that includes the former Elizabeth Manor building, to the Ulster County Housing Development Corporation, a local development corporation. The public hearing will be held on Tuesday, May 20, 2025 at 7:10 PM or as soon thereafter as the public can be heard, in the Legislative Chambers, Ulster County Office Building, 244 Fair Street, Kingston, New York, 12401. PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that all persons and citizens interested shall have an opportunity to be heard on said sale and/or transfer at the meeting aforesaid.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, pursuant to the requirements of the Open Meetings Law of the State of New York, that the Ulster County Legislature will convene in public meeting aforesaid for the purpose of conducting a public hearing on the transfer as described above and as deemed advisable by said Ulster County Legislature, taking action on the enactment authorizing the transfer thereafter.
