Referred to: The Ways and Means Committee (Chairman Gavaris and Legislators Collins, Hansut, Kovacs, Nolan, Roberts, and Uchitelle)
Chairman of the Ways and Means Committee, John Gavaris, and Deputy Chair Kevin A. Roberts offer the following:
WHEREAS, this resolution has been submitted at the request of the County Executive on behalf of the Department of Information Services; and
WHEREAS, Ulster County’s Public Safety System requires the migration of Fire Records to Emergency Networking ($173,720.00) to comply with amended New York State General Municipal Law NFIRS requirements, as the current system is not compliant and will not be updated; and
WHEREAS, the Public Safety System requires a Test GIS Server ($18,513.00) to separate the Production and Test GIS environments for testing server upgrades; and
WHEREAS, the Director of Information Services is requesting funding to purchase software with Tyler Services in the amount of $192,233.00; now therefore be it
RESOLVED, that the 2025 Ulster County Operating Budget is hereby amended as follows:
