Chairman of the Health, Human Services and Human Rights Committee, Abe Uchitelle, and Deputy Chair Craig V. Lopez offer the following:

WHEREAS, this resolution has been submitted at the request of the County Executive on behalf of the Ulster County Department of Social Services; and

          WHEREAS, the department has received notification from the New York State Division of Budget of the approval of the Raise the Age Implementation Planning Instrument as submitted by the County’s Department of Social Services, Coordinated Children’s Services division to the New York State Office of Children and Family Services (OCFS) for State Fiscal Year 2025; and

          WHEREAS, in order to reflect the increased funding, an amendment of the 2025 budget is necessary; and

          WHEREAS, no County contribution or matching funding is required; now, therefore, be it

          RESOLVED, that the 2025 Ulster County Operating Budget is hereby amended as follows:
