Chair of the Legislature, Peter J. Criswell, offers the following:

 

WHEREAS, Resolution No. 599 dated November 19, 2024, set the date for the Public Hearing on Proposed Local Law No. 15 Of 2024, (A Local Law Amending The Ulster County Charter And The Ulster County Administrative Code By Deleting Article XLIV From Each (Insurance Department), And Amending The Ulster County Charter And The Ulster County Administrative Code With Respect To Article XLIII (Safety Department)), to be held on Tuesday, December 10, 2024 at 6:05 PM in the Legislative Chambers, Ulster County Office Building, 6th Floor, 244 Fair Street, Kingston, New York; and

 

WHEREAS, said Public Hearing shall be held on Tuesday, December 10, 2024 at 6:05 PM; and

 

WHEREAS, said Public Hearing was advertised in the official newspapers of the County of Ulster, and posted on the signboard maintained by the Clerk of the Legislature situated in the Ulster County Office Building; and

 

          WHEREAS, all parties in attendance were permitted an opportunity to speak on behalf of or in opposition to the Proposed Local Law; now, therefore be it

 

RESOLVED, that herein, Proposed Local Law No. 15 of 2024 is hereby adopted by the Ulster County Legislature, and, pending the approval of the County Executive, will be assigned a local law number consecutive to the last local law adopted and approved in 2025,

 

and move its adoption.
