Chairman of the Health, Human Services and Housing Committee, Abe Uchitelle, and Deputy Chair Craig V. Lopez offer the following:

 

WHEREAS, on January 8, 2024, the Community Services Board met and requested the following individual be appointed to the Community Services Board’s Substance Abuse Subcommittee:

 

Amy Nitza, PhD

Kingston, New York 12401; and

 

WHEREAS, the County Executive, after considering the recommendation of the Community Services Board, has appointed the following individual to the Community Services Board’s Substance Use Subcommittee pursuant to section C-45 of the Ulster County Charter and section A6-3(A) of the Ulster County Administrative Code for the terms stated:

 

Amy Nitza, PhD                                    Term to Begin: Present

Kingston, New York 12401                    Term Expires: 12/31/26

                                                                      Eligible Reappt:  Yes

; and

 

          WHEREAS, the appointment is subject to confirmation by the Ulster County Legislature; now, therefore, be it

 

          RESOLVED, that the above-named individual is hereby confirmed as a member of the Ulster County Community Services Board’s Substance Abuse Subcommittee for the term indicated,

 

and moves its adoption.
