Chairman of the Health, Human Services and Housing Committee, Abe Uchitelle, and Deputy Chair Craig V. Lopez offer the following:

WHEREAS,thisresolutionhasbeensubmittedat the request oftheCountyExecutiveon behalf of the Department of Health; and

WHEREAS,the Department of Health has contracted in recent years with Federated Sportsmen to provide program administration services for fishing, hunting, trapping and shooting programs throughout Ulster County; and 

WHEREAS, the Department of, Mental Health, which was a division of the Department of Health, was designated to oversee the contract; and

WHEREAS, the Department of Mental Health is now a separate department, a budget modification from the Department of Health in the amount of twenty thousand ($20,000.00) needs to be initiated and a transfer be made to the Department of Mental Health to continue such services; and

WHEREAS,the County Executive requests an amendment to the 2023 Ulster County Budget to allow for transfer of funds between the Department of Health and the Department of Mental Health; now, therefore be it 

RESOLVED,that the 2023 Ulster County Budget is hereby amended as follows:
