Chairman of the Health, Human Services and Housing Committee, Abe Uchitelle, and Deputy Chair Craig V. Lopez offer the following:

WHEREAS, this resolution has been submitted at the request of the County Executive on behalf of the Ulster County Department of Mental Health; and

          WHEREAS, this resolution is requesting authorization to reclassify position 4310-1420 to a Manager of Fiscal Operations from a Financial Analyst; and 

WHEREAS, the conclusion of the Ulster County Personnel Department justifies the need for the reclassification; and

          WHEREAS, the Department has funds to offset the costs for the reclassification from Professional Services expenses that will not be fully expended; and

WHEREAS, to reflect the change, an amendment of the 2023 budget is necessary; now, therefore be it

           RESOLVED, that the 2023 Ulster County Budget is hereby amended as follows:
