Chairman of the Economic Development, Planning, Education, Employment, Arts and Agriculture Committee, Brian B. Cahill, and Deputy Chair Herbert Litts, III offer the following:

 

WHEREAS, a Public Hearing is required to be held pursuant to Section 141l(d) of the Not-for-Profit Law of the State of New York to consider the advisability of adoption of a resolution authorizing the sale and/or transfer of lands owned by the County located in the Town of Ulster at 701 Grant Avenue and further identified by Real Property Tax Section, Block, Lot (SBL) number 39.82-1-30.420, consisting of approximately 14.6 acres and including a former office building, comprising approximately 310,000 sq ft, to a local development corporation; now, therefore be it

 

RESOLVED, that the Clerk of the Ulster County Legislature shall act in accordance with Section 141l(d) of the Not-for-Profit Law of the State of New York to cause a legal notice of said Public Hearing to be published; and, be it further

 

RESOLVED, that said public hearing will be held on Tuesday, June 13, 2023 at 7:15 PM in the Legislative Chambers, Ulster County Office Building, 6th Floor, 244 Fair Street, Kingston, New York, and/or via videoconference to the extent allowable pursuant to existing New York State legislation, or order and the Rules of the Ulster County Legislature,

 

and move its adoption.
