Chairman of the Law Enforcement and Public Safety Committee, Abe Uchitelle, and Deputy Chair Gina Hansut offer the following:

 

WHEREAS, this resolution has been submitted at the request of the Ulster County Sheriff’s Office; and

 

WHEREAS, the Ulster County Sheriff’s Office has requested use of the Firearms Range belonging to the Town of Ulster; and

 

 WHEREAS, Town of Ulster will allow the use of its Firearms Range at no cost,  limited to the stipulations of contract; and

 

WHEREAS, the term of the agreement shall be January 1, 2023 through December 31, 2023; now, therefore be it

 

RESOLVED, that the Chair of the Ulster County Legislature is hereby authorized to sign an agreement, and any amendments thereto, with the Ulster County Sheriff’s Office and the Town of Ulster to provide the Town of Ulster’s Firearms Range usage under Agreement number 2023-00000097, as filed with the Clerk of the Ulster County Legislature or as modified with the approval of the County Attorney and Chair of the Ulster County Legislature,

 

and move its adoption.
