Chairman of the Law Enforcement and Public Safety Committee, Abe Uchitelle, and Deputy Chair Gina Hansut offer the following:

WHEREAS, this resolution has been offered at the request of the County Executive on behalf of the Ulster County Sheriff’s Office; and

WHEREAS, the Ulster County Sheriff’s Office is requesting to upgrade the body camera equipment due to the increase of use for Discovery and storage on the server; and

WHEREAS, the current system is no longer under warrantee and costly to repair and maintain; and

WHEREAS, the current system requires the purchase of a new server due to the discovery process, and this capital project will include cloud storage; and

 WHEREAS, this project is broken down into a 5-year plan of $117,707 per year; and

WHEREAS, it is necessary to fund the 2022 program in the amount of $588,535; now, therefore be it

RESOLVED, that the 2022-2027 Ulster County Capital Improvement Program is hereby amended as follows:
