Chair of the Health, Human Services and Housing Committee, Eve Walter, and Deputy Chair Craig V. Lopez offer the following:

 

WHEREAS, this resolution has been submitted at the request of the County Executive on behalf of the Ulster County Department of Mental Health; and

 

            WHEREAS, the Ulster County Department of Mental Health has received notification from the City of Kingston that funding is available to sub-contract with Access Supports for Living, Inc. to support the pilot program: The Kingston Mobile Mental Health Team.The program will buttress existing community-based crisis services currently available county wide; and 

 

            WHEREAS, in order to reflect the increased funding, an amendment of the 2022 budget is necessary; and

 

            WHEREAS, there is no increase in County Contribution as a result of these modifications; now, therefore, be it

 

RESOLVED, that the Chair of the Ulster County Legislature is hereby authorized to sign the intermunicipal agreement between Ulster County and the City of Kingston in the form filed with the Clerk of the Legislature or as are modified with the approval of the County Attorney; and, be it further

 

RESOLVED, the 2022 County Budget is hereby amended as follows:
