Chair of the Health, Human Services and Housing Committee, Eve Walter, and Deputy Chair Craig V. Lopez offer the following:

WHEREAS, this resolution has been submitted at the request of the County Executive on behalf of the Ulster County Department of Mental Health; and

            WHEREAS, the Ulster County Department of Mental Health requires authorization to enter into an intermunicipal agreement between the Ulster County Department of Mental Health and the Dutchess County Department of Behavioral and Community Health to support the availability of the Dutchess County Helpline 9-8-8 suicide prevention call center to Ulster County residents; and

            WHEREAS, there is no increase in County Contribution as a result of this intermunicipal agreement; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, that the Chair of the Ulster County Legislature is hereby authorized to sign the intermunicipal agreement and the between the County of Ulster and the Dutchess County Department of Behavioral and Community Health,

and move its adoption.
