Chairman of the Public Works and Capital Projects Committee, Dean J. Fabiano, and Deputy Chair Manna Jo Greene offer the following:

 

            WHEREAS, this resolution has been submitted at the request of the County Executive on behalf of the Department of Public Works, and

 

WHEREAS, the Commissioner of Public Works requests that the Chairman of the Ulster County Legislature be authorized to execute a memorandum of agreement with the Kingston City School District for the operation of Point of Dispensing (POD) sites at the Kate Walton Field House located at Kingston High School; and

 

WHEREAS, the centralized location of Kingston High School within the City of Kingston affords Ulster County the capability of processing residents for mass inoculations of the COVID-19 vaccinations; and 

 

WHEREAS, the Kingston High School Kate Walton Field House is a location which is easily identified, centrally located and accessible to residents; now, therefore, be it

 

RESOLVED, that the Chairman of the Ulster County Legislature be authorized to execute a memorandum of agreement with the Kingston City School District for the operation of Point of Dispensing (POD) sites at the Kate Walton Field House located at Kingston High School, in the form as filed with the Clerk of the Ulster County Legislature or as modified with the approval of the County Attorney,

 

and moves its adoption.
