Chairman of the Public Works and Capital Projects Committee, Dean J. Fabiano, and Deputy Chair Manna Jo Greene offer the following:

 

WHEREAS, this resolution has been submitted by the County Executive on behalf of the Department of Public Works; and

 

WHEREAS, Local Law No. 3 of 2019 as amended by Local Law No. 8 of 2019 has required that Ulster County issue electrical licenses to all persons seeking to conduct business as Electrical Contractors within the County of Ulster; and

 

WHEREAS, as part of the requirements to become a “Master Electrician” a written exam is required; and

 

WHEREAS, Ulster BOCES has agreed with the County of Ulster to administer and grade the Electrical Licensing Board exams, at a rate of $125.00 per student per exam; now, therefore be it

 

RESOLVED, that the Chair of the Ulster County Legislature is hereby authorized to enter into an agreement, and any amendments thereto, with the Ulster Board of Cooperative Educational Services In Relation To Intermunicipal Cooperation For Testing Services, for the period December 1, 2020 through June 30, 2022, in the form as filed with the Clerk of the Ulster County Legislature or as modified with the approval of the County Attorney,

 

and move its adoption.
