Chairwoman of the Law Enforcement and Public Safety Committee, Lynn Eckert, and Deputy Chair Kenneth Ronk, Jr. offer the following:

 

WHEREAS, this resolution has been submitted by the Ulster County District Attorney (the “District Attorney”); and

 

WHEREAS, the District Attorney received a check in the amount of $2,614.00 from the New York State Police as an advance against expected disbursements to the New York State Police and NYS Substance Abuse Program, pursuant to Article 13-a of New York Civil Practice Law and Rules and the United States Department of Justice Guide to Equitable Sharing for State, Local, and Tribal Law Enforcement Agencies; and

 

WHEREAS, these funds are proceeds from New York State Police and District Attorney cases only; and

 

WHEREAS, the District Attorney is requesting that $2,614.00 be appropriated from the Forfeiture Fund Balance to the District Attorney’s expenditure Account; now, therefore, be it

 

RESOLVED, that the 2019 Ulster County Budget is hereby amended as follows:
