Referred to: The Public Works and Capital Projects Committee (Chairwoman Petit and Legislators Fabiano, Greene, Litts, and Nolan), The Legislative Programs, Education and Community Services Committee (Chairman Delaune and Legislators Collins, Donaldson, Haynes, and Wawro), and The Ways and Means Committee (Chairwoman Archer and Legislators Gerentine, Maio, James Maloney, Joseph Maloney, Petit, and Rodriguez)
Chairman of the Legislative Programs, Education and Community Services Committee, James Delaune, and Deputy Chair Heidi Haynes, offer the following:
WHEREAS, this resolution has been submitted by the Acting County Executive on behalf of SUNY Ulster; and
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 54, dated January 26, 2016, established Capital Project No. 468 SUNY Ulster – Construction of Vanderlyn Pedestrian Bridge and amended the 2016-2021 Capital Fund Budget to fund such project in the amount of $175,000.00; and
WHEREAS, the 2019-2024 Ulster County Capital Improvement Program included funding of $10,382,625.00 in funding for Roof Replacement and Exterior Site Work, including funding of $675,000.00 for the construction of the Vanderlyn Pedestrian Bridge; and
WHEREAS, the SUNY Ulster Board of Trustees approved via resolution #19-04-101, dated April 24, 2019, amending Capital Project Capital Project No. 468 SUNY Ulster – Construction of Vanderlyn Pedestrian Bridge to increase such project to a total amount of $275,000.00, an increase of $100,000.00; and
WHEREAS, such funding shall be split $50,000.00 SUNY funding and $50,000.00 County share; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the 2019-2024 Ulster County Capital Fund Budget is hereby amended as follows:
