Chairman of the Legislative Programs, Education and Community Services Committee, James Delaune, and Deputy Chair Heidi Haynes, offer the following:

WHEREAS, this resolution has been submitted by the Acting County Executive on behalf of the Ulster County Community College (“UCCC”); and 

WHEREAS, Resolution No. 525, dated December 18, 2018, approved the advancement of capital projects for UCCC that were included in the approved 2019-2024 Ulster County Capital Improvement program; and

WHEREAS, UCCC has many equipment and vehicles that are old, and need to be replaced with new equipment to ensure that campus maintenance staff have adequate equipment to maintain the roads, sidewalks, grounds and parking lots; and

 WHEREAS, the SUNY Ulster Board of Trustees approved Resolution No. 19-3-67 establishing Capital Project: Facilities Equipment in the amount of $153,000 to replace facilities equipment for campus maintenance; and

WHEREAS, the $153,000 cost to replace facilities equipment for campus facilities in 2019 would be divided as follows: $76,500 State and $76,500 Ulster County; and

WHEREAS, the 2019-2024 Capital Improvement Program included funding of $153,000 for the facilities equipment replacement; now, therefore be it

 RESOLVED, that Capital Project No. 541 – SUNY Ulster Facilities Equipment is hereby established as follows:
