Chairwoman of the Law Enforcement and Public Safety Committee, Mary Beth

Maio, and Deputy Chair Julius Collins offer the following:

WHEREAS, this resolution has been submitted by the Ulster County Sheriff’s

Office; and

WHEREAS, the Onteora Central School District has drafted a Memorandum

of Understanding (MOU) to provide access to their Closed Caption Television

(CCTV) system, when the Sheriff’s Office Representative is responding to an

Onteora Central School District emergency; and

WHEREAS, the term of the agreement shall be September 1, 2018 through

June 30, 2024; now, therefore, be it

 RESOLVED, that the Chairman of the Ulster County Legislature is hereby

authorized to sign an agreement, and any amendments thereto, with the Onteora

Central School District to provide access to the CCTV system for the term September

1, 2018 through June 30, 2024, in the form as filed with the Clerk of the Ulster

County Legislature or as modified with the approval of the County Attorney in

consultation with the Chairman of the Legislature and the Chairman and Deputy

Chairman of the Law Enforcement and Public Safety Committee,

and move its adoption.
