Chairman of the Legislature Kenneth J. Ronk Jr. offers the following:

 

 WHEREAS, this resolution has been submitted by the Ulster County Sheriff;

and

 WHEREAS, the Ulster County Deputy Sheriff’s Police Benevolent

Association seeks to donate a motor vehicle to the Ulster County Sheriff’s Office;

and

 WHEREAS, the Ulster County Sheriff’s Office is requesting that the donation

of said motor vehicle from the Ulster County Deputy Sheriff’s Police Benevolent

Association be approved by the Ulster County Legislature; now, therefore, be it

 RESOLVED, that the County of Ulster, by and through the Ulster County

Sheriff’s Office, is hereby authorized to accept a donation of a motor vehicle from

the Ulster County Deputy Sheriff’s Police Benevolent Association upon certification

from the Ulster County Department of Public Works – Fleet Manager that such

vehicle, at this time is free of any mechanical defects,

and move its adoption.
