Chairman of the Law Enforcement and Public Safety Committee, Thomas J. Briggs,

and Deputy Chairman Ronald G. Lapp, Jr. offer the following:

WHEREAS, the District Attorney received check #25337 from the New York

State Prosecutors Training Institute (NYPTI) as an advance against expected

disbursements in witness protection case #WPP 028-2017 in the amount of

$4,582.16, for the purpose of witness relocation; and

WHEREAS the District Attorney received check #25402 from NYPTI as an

advance against expected disbursements in witness protection case #WPP 034-2017

in the amount of $1,950.00 for the purpose of witness relocation; and

WHEREAS the District Attorney received check #25405 from NYPTI as an

advance against expected disbursements in witness protection case #WPP 037-2017

in the amount of $2,450.00 for the purpose of witness relocation; and

WHEREAS the District Attorney received check #6387 from the Ulster

County Department of Probation in the amount of $1,277.78 as restitution in case

reference #32686; now, therefore be it

RESOLVED, that the 2017 Ulster County Budget is hereby amended as

follows:
