Minority Leader Hector S. Rodriguez offers the following:

WHEREAS, Ashley E. Dittus has been recommended by the Democratic

County Committee of the County of Ulster as a suitable and qualified person for the

appointment to the Office of Commissioner of Elections to fill an existing vacancy in

said Office for the remainder of the current term; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, pursuant to Election Law 3-204, that Ashley E. Dittus,

Kingston, New York, Democratic Party, be appointed as Election Commissioner,

effective immediately, for a term ending on the 31st day of December 2018,

and move its adoption.
