Legislator Hector Rodriguez and Legislators Allen, Bartels, Berky, Briggs, Delaune,

Donaldson, Greene, Heppner, Loughran, and J. Parete offer the following:

WHEREAS, Resolution No. 411 of 2016 dated June 20, 2017, set the date for

the Public Hearing on Proposed Local Law No. 15 of 2016 (A Local Law Amending

The Ulster County Charter Section C-101A And The Ulster County Administrative

Code Section A 30-2A, To Amend The Powers And Duties Of The Ulster County

Human Rights Commission), to be held on Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at 6:00 PM, in the

Legislative Chambers, Ulster County Office Building, 244 Fair Street, Kingston,

New York; and

WHEREAS, said Public Hearing was held on Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at 6:00

PM, in the Legislative Chambers, Ulster County Office Building, 244 Fair Street,

Kingston, New York; and

 

WHEREAS, said Public Hearing was advertised in the official newspapers of

the County of Ulster, and posted on the signboard maintained by the Clerk of the

Legislature situated in the Ulster County Office Building; and

 WHEREAS, all parties in attendance were permitted an opportunity to speak

on behalf of or in opposition to said Proposed Local Law; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, that herein, Proposed Local Law No. 15 of 2016 is hereby

adopted by the Ulster County Legislature, and, pending the approval of the County

Executive, will be assigned a local law number consecutive to the last local law

adopted and approved in 2017,

 

and move its adoption.
