Chairman of the Economic Development, Tourism, Housing, Planning, and Transit

Committee, James F. Maloney, and Deputy Chairman Hector Rodriguez offer the

following:

WHEREAS, this resolution has been submitted by the County Executive on

behalf of the Department of Public Transportation; and

WHEREAS, advertising on buses totaling $5,146.44 has been received from

Timely Signs for the time period of January through April 2016; and

WHEREAS, the Director of Public Transportation requests that the these

funds be used to buy bus parts and equipment; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, that these funds shall be used to purchase bus parts and

equipment as required by the Federal Transit Administration regulations;

and move its adoption.
