Chairman of the Law Enforcement and Public Safety Committee, Thomas J. Briggs,

and Deputy Chairman Ronald G. Lapp, Jr. offer the following:

WHEREAS, this resolution has been submitted by the District Attorney; and

WHEREAS, the District Attorney received check #24046 from the New York

State Prosecutors Training Institute (NYPTI) as an advance against expected

disbursements in witness protection case #WPP002-2016 in the amount of

$2,200.00, for the purpose of witness relocation; and

WHEREAS the District Attorney received check #24116 from NYPTI as an

advance against expected disbursements in witness protection case #WPP 007-2016

in the amount of $2,000.00 for the purpose of witness relocation; now, therefore be it

RESOLVED, that the 2016 Ulster County Budget shall be amended per the

request of the District Attorney as follows:

 INCREASE AMOUNT

AA.1065.1031-3200.2260 Intergovernmental Charges $4,200.00

 Witness Services
