Chairman of the Law Enforcement and Public Safety Committee, Thomas J. Briggs,

and Deputy Chairman Ronald G. Lapp, Jr. offer the following:

 

WHEREAS, the Ulster County District Attorney is requesting $30,000.00 be

appropriated from the District Attorney’s Fund Balance Forfeiture Account for the

purpose of purchasing law enforcement equipment, as defined in Article 13A of the

N.Y.C.P.L.R., Title 18 U.S.C. §981, Title 21 U.S.C. §881, and Title 19 U.S.C.

§1646; and

WHEREAS, these funds are proceeds from New York State Police and

District Attorney cases only; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, that the 2016 Ulster County Budget is hereby amended as

follows:

 

DECREASE AMOUNT

AA.0889.5804 Fund Balance, Restricted $30,000.00

AA.1165.1031-4710.4720 Law Enforcement & Special $15,000.00
